These Dreadnought Classic Sandfaced Clay Roof Tiles feature a wide selection of colour options that are subtle, soft and designed to please the eye without any added pigments, artificial stains or coloured sand. Made from Etruria Marl clay, the same material that makes Staffordshire Blue Class A Engineering Bricks, Dreadnought tiles offer high strength and durability.
Hand-formed and coloured with a kiln atmosphere for natural quality, these tiles are 265mm x 165mm in size and are suited to a minimum pitch of 35°, providing coverage of 60 tiles per m² at 100mm gauge and 53 tiles per m² at 155mm gauge. These tiles are suited to installation with 38mm x 2.65mm aluminium nail fixings and 38mm x 25mm battens.
Subtle colour variations create unique appearances that elevate your roof. This Classic Purple Brown colour features numerous shades of red, brown and purple. Due to the carefully controlled reduction atmosphere for a limited period, this organic colour variation is attained. Clay tiles will differ from one another for a blend of colours and shades, and this Purple Brown shade looks brilliant alongside Bronze.
