Maintaining high levels of light transmission while making the most of using natural light, this double-glazed fixed dome with a clear finish is manufactured from thermoformed polycarbonate sheet with a minimum of 3mm thick glazing and includes a white uPVC curb. Compared to glass, this polycarbonate dome is virtually indestructible and has up to 250 times greater impact strength.
Supplied factory fitted as standard, are the patented and unique high security screwbolts. They ensure that once fitted, this Em-Dome rooflight cannot be uninstalled with the use of basic tools, providing a high level of resilience to tampering or forced entry. The sleeved fixing within the body of the screwbolt prevents pressure from building up onto the rooflight glazing as it is fastened. This almost eradicates the risk of stress fractures triggered by over-tightening.
