This square 1000mm x 1000mm Em-Dome rooflight comprises of a white uPVC curb, patented high security screwbolts supplied factory fitted as standard and a thermoformed polycarbonate dome with an opal finish, a minimum of 3mm thickness and triple glazing that is nearly indestructible with a greater impact strength than glass by up to 250 times.
Made to make optimal use of natural light, this Em-Dome rooflight with an opal tint enhances security due to its translucent surface while transmitting high levels of light, steadily distributed into the room beneath. Once fitted, the unique high security screwbolts cannot be removed using basic tools and provide outstanding resilience to forced entry or tampering. Within the body of the screwbolt, the sleeved screw or bolt avoids pressure from building up onto the rooflight glazing as the fixing is fastened. This virtually removes the risk of stress fractures initiated by over-tightening.
