Fabricated from high quality thermoformed polycarbonate, this Em-Dome rooflight has been designed with an opal tint to make optimal use of natural light with retaining high light transmission and evenly circulating light in the area beneath while the translucent finish increases security while the curb is made from white uPVC.
Featuring patented high security screwbolts that are provided factory fitted and unique to the Em-Dome, this rooflight ensures that the fixing cannot be removed using common tools once fitted. The screwbolts deliver a high level of resistance to forced entry or tampering while the sleeved fixing bolt or screw within the body inhibits the risk of stress fractures caused by over-tightening by preventing pressure from being exerted on the rooflight glazing as the fitting is tightened.
This double glazed, polycarbonate Em-Dome has up to 250 times greater impact strength than glass meaning that it is virtually unbreakable with a minimum of 3mm thick glazing.
