This square 1100mm x 1100mm Em-Dome rooflight has a double-glazed dome, with an opal finish, that has been manufactured from thermoformed polycarbonate sheet. With a white uPVC curb, this rooflight takes full advantage of utilising natural light while transmitting high levels of light, evenly scattered into the room below.
With a minimum of 3mm thick glazing, the hard-wearing polycarbonate structure is virtually unbreakable with up to 250 times greater impact strength compared to glass while the translucent surface provides additional security.
Offering exceptional resistance to tampering and forced entry, this Em-Dome rooflight includes, factory-fitted as standard, high-security screwbolts that are unique and patented to Em-Dome. This rooflight cannot be uninstalled, once fixed, by means of common tools. Within the body of the screwbolt, the fixing is sleeved to ensure the prevention of pressure from building up onto the glazing as it is secured. This helps to essentially deter the potential for over-tightening which causes stress fractures.
