This opal tinted, double glazed Em-Dome rooflight is thermoformed from polycarbonate sheet and maintains high light transmission, making the most of natural light whilst steadily diffusing light into the area below. The translucent finish helps to increase security while the polycarbonate material is essentially indestructible with up to 250 times greater impact strength than glass. The curb is fabricated from white uPVC.
The patented high security screwbolts, unique to Em-Dome, are provided factory fitted as standard and ensure that once installed, the fixing cannot be removed using basic tools. Offering excellent resistance to tampering or forced entry, the screwbolt virtually eradicates the risk of stress fractures caused by over-tightening by having sleeved fixing screws or bolts within the body of the screwbolt which inhibits pressure from being exerted on the glazing as the fittings are secured.
