Virtually indestructible, this dome is thermoformed from polycarbonate sheet with an impact strength up to 250 times greater than glass while the curb is fabricated from white uPVC. This 1500mm x 1500mm Em-Dome rooflight is double glazed with a minimum of 3mm thick glazing and takes full advantage of using natural light for maximum light transmission.
This Em-Dome rooflight comes with unique and patented high security screwbolts that are supplied factory fitted as standard . They ensure that this Em-Dome rooflight maintains a high level of resistance to forced entry or tampering while once fixed, the rooflight cannot be uninstalled using basic tools. Essentially removing the potential for stress fractures caused by over-tightening, the fixing screw or bolt is sleeved within the screwbolt's body to eliminate a build up of pressure on the rooflight glazing as the fixing is attached.
