This high quality, Em-Dome double glazed dome is thermoformed from polycarbonate and has been created to make the most of using natural light. The opal tint enhances security thanks to its translucent surface while evenly diffusing high levels of light transmission into the area beneath. The curb is made from white uPVC.
The patented high security screwbolts are unique to Em-Dome and are provided factory fitted as standard to all units. Once fitted, the fixing cannot be detached with the use of basic tools while the screwbolt ensures outstanding resistance to tampering or forced entry. The sleeved fixing screw or bolt within the screwbolt's body deters pressure from building up on the glazing as the fixing is secured. This essentially eliminates the possibility of stress fractures as a result of over-tightening. With an impact strength of up to 250 times greater than glass, this polycarbonate Em-Dome rooflight is virtually unbreakable.
