With a minimum of 3mm thickness of triple glazed dome created from thermoformed polycarbonate sheet and a curb made from white uPVC, this Em-Dome rooflight with an opal tint makes optimum use of natural light which is steadily dispersed into the area below while maintaining high levels of light transmission.
With a greater impact resistance than glass by up to 250 times stronger, this polycarbonate rooflight is practically indestructible with superior resistance to tampering or forced entry due to the patented high security screwbolts that are unique to Em-Dome and supplied factory fitted as standard. Once fixed, this Em-Dome rooflight cannot be detached using basic tools. Within the screwbolt's body, the fixing screws or bolts are sleeved to prevent pressure from building up on the rooflight glazing as the fixing is tightened which practically eliminates the risk of stress fractures triggered by over-tightening.
