With a thermoformed triple glazed polycarbonate dome and a white uPVC curb, this 1600mm x 1600mm square Em-Dome rooflight has no less than 3mm thick glazing with an opal finish that makes the optimum use of natural light while consistently dispersing high levels of light transmission in the room below with additional security due to the translucent surface.
With up to 250 times stronger impact resistance than glass, this quality polycarbonate rooflight is almost indestructible while the patented high security screwbolts, that are supplied factory fitted as standard and exclusive to Em-Dome, ensure a high level of resistance to forced entry or tampering. Once attached, these screwbolt fixings cannot be detached using common tools while the sleeved fixing screws or bolts within the body of the screwbolt prevent pressure from building up on the rooflight glazing as the fixings are fastened. This practically eradicates the risk of stress fractures triggered by over-tightening.
