With an opal finish, this quality Em-Dome rooflight has increased security due to the translucent surface while making the most of using natural light by maintaining high levels of light transmission, evenly dispersed into the area beneath.
This 600mm x 600mm triple glazed Em-Dome rooflight consists of a thermoformed polycarbonate dome with a minimum of 3mm thick glazing, a white uPVC curb and factory fitted, patented high security screwbolts that are exclusive to Em-Dome. These screwbolts ensure that once fixed, the installation cannot be removed using common tools while giving exceptional resistance to forced entry or tampering. With the fixing screw or bolt sleeved within the screwbolt's body, this Em-Dome rooflight precludes pressure from being exerted on the glazing as the fixing is tightened which fundamentally reduces the risk of stress fractures triggered by over-tightening.
The durable polycarbonate material of this Em-Dome rooflight is practically unbreakable with an impact strength up to 250 times greater than glass.
