Thermoformed from double glazed polycarbonate sheet with a minimum of 3mm thick glazing, this 700mm x 1300mm rectangular dome with a white uPVC curb has been designed to make the most of using natural light with its clear finish. The polycarbonate material is virtually indestructible with an impact strength up to 250 times greater than glass.
This Em-Dome rooflight is supplied with patented high security screwbolts that are factory fitted as standard and unique to Em-Dome. They ensure that once fitted, the fixings cannot be detached with the use of basic tools while providing outstanding resistance to tampering or forced entry. Within the screwbolt's body, the sleeved screw or bolt deters pressures from building up on the rooflight glazing as the fixing is secured. This almost eradicates the risk of stress fractures caused by over-tightening.
