Created to make the most of natural light transmissions while consistently spreading high levels of light into the room below, this quality Em-Dome rooflight has been thermoformed from polycarbonate sheet with an opal tint that improves security due to its translucent surface while the curb is made from white uPVC.
As a virtually indestructible material, polycarbonate has a greater impact strength than glass by up 250 times. The high security screwbolts that are patented and unique to Em-Dome are provided factory fitted as standard and ensure that the fixing cannot be dismantled with the use of basic tools, once installed. With an outstanding resistance to forced entry or tampering, the screwbolt allows the fixing screw or bolt to be sleeved within its body to deter pressure from being exerted on the glazing as the fixing is secured. This essentially removes the risk of stress fractures caused by over-tightening.
