Filon GRP 4550mm Rooflight’s are designed to allow natural light into industrial environments, they are designed to be durable, long lasting and create a light but also comfortable environment.
Designed with industry in mind, each Filon Rooflight is manufactured using glass reinforced polyester resin designed to have excellent impact resistance.
The highly durable UV resistant polyester film not only limits yellowing and increases the lifespan of the rooflight, but also scatters the light passing through to provide natural light without creating hotspots or glare. This makes Filon GRP Rooflights perfect for industrial buildings where it can create a bright comfortable environment.
This UV protective layer coupled with the durability of the glass reinforced polyester resin means that, under normal conditions, Filon are confident to declare that the GRP industrial rooflight has a sheet life in excess of 30 years.
All Filon rooflights are tested to most current UK and EU building and fire regulations. GRP Rooflights are AB class 3 fire rated.
