This Adhesion Test Kit from Res-Tec's Flexitec 2020 system can be used to verify that there is adequate bond strength when overlaying single-ply membranes as part of a flexible, single resin Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) system.

With new deck and full overlay capacities, the Flexitec 2020 system is an exceptional fibreglass system that combines the best features of fibreglass with the flexibility of overlay systems. It is the most efficient flat roof solution that performs well across multiple applications. The incredibly adaptable Flexitec 2020 system is suitable for any roof shape or size, eliminating the need for expansion joints. It can be applied in temperatures as high as 30°C or as low as 5°C, providing a completely seamless membrane without joints, welds or weak points. For added safety, it is cold applied, eliminating the risk of open flames or other hot works.

An anti-slip finish is available, making it ideal for walkways or balconies. The Flexitec 2020 system can be overcoated or repaired without grinding down. If one coat is applied, it has a 10-year repair system, while the two-coat roofing system, when installed by a trained installer, is backed by a 20-year material guarantee from Res-Tec. With its extra-durable finish and rapid curing of 30 to 60-minute walk-over time, it works on almost any roof surface, including concrete, asphalt, GRP, felt, metal details, approved insulation boards, PVC and single-ply.

Standards & Certification

  • Fire retardancy: tested to BS 476-3 rated F.AA and EN 13501-5(4), the highest rating a flat roof system can get and allowing for unrestricted use under UK regulations
