This powder hardener is required for the Flexitec 2020 Primer with a minimum of 2% and a maximum of 4% depending on temperatures. To make sure the curing process is not impeded, you must never use less than 2% even in hot conditions and never use more than 4% even in cold conditions.
Combining the best qualities of fibreglass and the versatility of overlay systems, the Flexitec 2020 System by Res-Tec is a flexible, single resin Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) system with new deck and full overlay capabilities for multiple applications. The rapid curing Flexitec 2020 has a walk-over time of 30-60 minutes with an extra-tough finish and can be applied to almost any roof surface including asphalt, felt, GRP, concrete, metal details, PVC single-ply and approved insulation boards. One coat of the Flexitec 2020 system gives you a 10-year repair system while two coats give you a 20-year roofing system with a 20-year materials guarantee supported by Res-Tec if installed by trained installers.
The Flexitec 2020 system can be repaired or overcoated without grinding down and is extremely flexible, ideal for any shape or size roof without the need for expansion joints. Suitable for applying in temperatures as low as 5°C or as high as 30°, the Flexitec 2020 system is an entirely seamless membrane without weak points, welds or joints. An anti-slip finish is available for balconies and walkways while the Flexitec 2020 can be applied cold for maximum safety without the risk of open flames or other hot works.
