Specifically designed for use with the Hardrow Duet tiles in a Barley finish, this Tile-and-a-Half is ideal for enhancing your roofing project. Tile-and-a-halves are placed at the beginning and end of each alternating layer of tiles to provide a neat and visually pleasing finish.
For roofs with pitches below 40°, the slates can be conveniently hung, depending on the specific conditions. If you require expert advice, please contact our dedicated Roofing Superstore team. When dealing with pitches above 40°, it is crucial to secure all slates by nailing them into the batten. Using two 38mm x 3.35mm aluminium nails is recommended, or 40mm x 4mm sizes for 24 x 18 slates, to ensure optimal installation.
To maintain the integrity of your roofing structure, the nail holes have an approximate diameter of 5mm. These holes are positioned roughly 50mm below the slate heads and 50mm-100mm inward from the side edges.
