Clad on both sides with a gastight aluminium complex, IKO Enertherm ALU is an insulation board made up of a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam core that excludes CFC, HCFC and HFC. The quality reflective ALU cladding with at least seven layers in a single complex has been rigorously tested to withstand risky conditions in terms of water absorption, mechanical stress, corrosion, and emissivity.
The thin structured IKO Enertherm ALU board provides a sustainable and lightweight solution that minimises the thickness of the building construction and provides high insulation value. It can be used as flat roof insulation for timber, concrete and steel deck, pitched roof insulation (type nF with neutral felt), or floor insulation for underfloor heating and concrete floors. It is also ideal as cavity wall insulation, outside wall insulation (closed joints) and loft insulation.
It also supports technical maintenance on solar panels, air conditioning units, and other roof installations because of its pressure resistance and shape retention. The board is moisture insensitive across all weather settings and retains its insulation value, weight, and size without shrinking.
Finally, PIR insulation can be effortlessly combined with roof membranes and is dimensionally stable, making it an excellent choice for building insulation.
