With a 50mm thickness and a lightweight and sustainable form, this IKO Enertherm ALU is a 100% CFC, HCFC or HFC-free insulation board. It can be used for several insulation applications and is high in insulation value. Due to its thin construction, it lowers the thickness of building construction and permits technical maintenance for air condition units, solar panels, and similar roof installations.
The board consists of a core of rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam, a multi-layer gastight aluminium complex, and is clad on both sides. High-quality reflecting ALU cladding features at least seven layers in one complex. Tests for its water absorption, emissivity, corrosion resistance, and mechanical properties have been commenced to adverse conditions.
It is ideal for flat roof insulation for timber, concrete and steel deck, as well as insulation for pitched roofs (type nF with neutral felt) and for underfloor heating and concrete floors. The board is also suited to insulation for lofts, cavity walls and outside walls with closed joints.
PIR insulation is dimensionally stable and is simple to incorporate with roof membranes.
