This exclusive fixing system from John Brash can reduce the time taken to install Western Red Cedar shingles on roofs by up to 65%, as independently tested by NFRC. The 38mm stainless steel ‘C’ point staples will fix shingles securely.
One box of JB ShingleFix stainless steel staples contains 3000 staples which will fit around 12.5 bundles of Western Red Cedar shingles.
Western Red Cedar shingles from John Brash can be fitted to roofs as low as 14° in pitch for roofing and for cladding. Manufactured from wood sawn on both sides, the naturally colour, sustainable Western Red Cedar shingle offers great thermal insulation and a low carbon footprint.
They’re easy to install and last from 20 to 60 years dependent on application. When installed using JB ShingleFix stables they take even less time to install, around 65% faster than nailing. Each bundle of Western Red Cedar Shingles is around 120 shingles and from one bundle on 14° and 21° pitch you’ll get 1.73m2 per bundle and 22° and 89° pitch is around 2.28m2 per bundle.
