As part of a mechanically fitted system, this Manthorpe GDRH-CL 6m Roll-Out Clay Hip Pack firmly secures the clay hip tiles onto your roof without the need for special tools or mortar fixing. This ensures the installation process is clean, easy, quick and accomplished during frosts and other hostile weather conditions.
Designed to suit traditionally deeper clay hip tiles, both angled and round, as well as concrete tiles, this system can be installed onto most roof coverings, including slate, clay, concrete, and profiled tiles. You can also fit it onto the hip of most roof pitches, but the pitches have to be within the tile manufacturer's guidelines for the tile in use.
The hip support tray serves to level out the run of the hip, forming an even mounting for the hip tiles. Hip ends can then be finished with Manthorpe's Unique Hip End Closer.
One box of this dry hip system delivers all the components required for a hip run approximately 6m in length with 450mm long tiles (excluding the hip tiles). Unions for shorter ridge tiles can also be purchased.
