An integral mechanically secured roofing system, this Manthorpe GDRH-CL 6m Roll-Out Clay Hip Pack in Dark Brown provides a robust solution for fixing clay hip tiles to your roof. This system doesn't require special tools, mortar or pointing, allowing a hassle-free and efficient installation process, even in frosty or adverse weather conditions.
Engineered to accommodate both angled and round traditionally deeper clay hip tiles, this system is also appropriate for concrete tiles. Suitable for fitting onto numerous roofing materials, it suits slate, clay, and concrete, including profiled tiles.
This system can be adapted to fit most roof pitches, provided they fall within the guidelines specified by the tile manufacturer for the relevant tile. Each package provides all the necessary components for a hip run spanning approximately 6m when using 450mm long tiles (excluding the hip tiles). However, if unions for shorter ridge tiles are necessary, they are available for separate purchase.
The hip support tray plays a crucial role in creating a level run for the hip tiles, ensuring a uniform and even mounting along the hip. To complete the hip ends, Manthorpe's Unique Hip End Closer can be employed.
