Monodraught Suncatcher ABS 550mm dia with 450mm Sunpipe, 1.5m Long
The ABS SUNCATCHER® natural daylight and ventilation systems incorporate the SUNPIPE and natural ventilation in one compact, energy-free system. Designed more for the domestic market these systems are available in three sizes. The ABS 350 which incorporates our 200mm (9") diameter SUNPIPE system and the ABS 550 incorporating either our 300mm (12") or 450mm (18") diameter system.
The system expels stale air from the room as a result of the passive stack ventilation principle, but also has the added advantages of bringing in a supply of fresh air on the windward side of the system as well as providing natural daylight.
The ceiling ventilator is available in two options. For commercial applications, an eggcrate ceiling diffuser is recommended. The volume control dampers are operated by a simple lever arrangement. For domestic applications, a ‘hit and miss’ diffuser is provided and is fully adjustable from closed to fully open and is also available with a brass or chrome finish, where required.
