Corotherm's 16mm Polycarbonate Sheets make for versatile solutions across a range of projects, such as conservatories, carports, greenhouses, and outhouses. Bronze in colour and incredibly lightweight, these sheets can be easily customised to fit any size requirements. As a result, you can rest assured that they will provide comprehensive coverage for any given task.
While lightweight to ease installation, the resilient and robust nature of these sheets allows them to tolerate wind and snow loads of 0.6kN/m². They also make great insulators and effectively maintain the warmth of your indoor space, forming a cosy environment.
Due to the flutes along the length of the sheet, it is important to install them in a way that aligns the flutes with the roof's pitch or slope. You can securely attach them by using a glazing system or wall flashing at the top edge, and a single fixing button at the bottom edge. The 20mm edge engagement also permits compatibility in a proprietary glazing bar system.
During installation, it is advised to maintain a maximum span of 1050mm between glazing bars. Exceeding this limit may result in the sheets becoming dislodged from the glazing bars during periods of harsh wind and snow. A glazing bar that spans the entire length of the roof slope or pitch should be utilised if sheets are being joined together.
