With a clear finish and a lightweight structure, Corotherm delivers these 16mm Polycarbonate Sheets as a means of providing various solutions. Ideal for a range of projects such as conservatories, carports, greenhouses, and outhouses, these sheets can be easily customised with the cut to size option, ensuring comprehensive coverage for every task.
With their durability and strength, these polycarbonate sheets can withstand a snow and wind load of 0.6kN/m². They also provide exceptional insulation, creating a warm and cosy environment for your indoor spaces.
These sheets can be securely held in place at the top edge using a glazing system or wall flashing, and at the bottom edge using a single fixing button. Their innovative design includes a 20mm edge engagement for a proprietary glazing bar system, and these sheets also have flutes that span lengthways. As a result, the sheets should be installed so that the flutes can align with the pitch or slope of your roof.
When installing these sheets, it is recommended to maintain a maximum span of 1050mm between glazing bars. Going beyond this limit could result in the sheet dislodging from the glazing bars during extreme weather conditions such as strong winds or heavy snow. Additionally, it is important to incorporate a glazing bar that spans the entire length of the roof slope or pitch when joining sheets together.
