This lightweight slate can be purchased in different colours to match your current roof design, showcasing a well-established reputation on pitches as shallow as 15° at 75mm headlap and 25° at 50mm headlap. Installed with the recommended nail size of 30mm x 2.65mm, this slate has coverage of 15.9 slates per m² at a 210mm gauge, 14.8 slates per m² at a 225mm gauge and 13.3 slates per m² at a 250mm gauge.
For rafter centres up to 400mm, battens sized 38mm x 25mm are required while for larger rafter centres up to 600mm, 50mm x 25mm battens are required. For optimal coverage, you will need the following batten quantities per m²: 4.76m with a 210mm gauge, 4.44m with a 225mm gauge and 4.00m with a 250mm gauge.
