For over 175 years, the name Rosemary has been synonymous with clay plain tiles, lending distinction and character to pitched roofs. Today, Redland's range includes a variety of single and cross-cambered tiles that seamlessly blend the craftsmanship of hand-crafted clay with the reliability of modern machine-made techniques.
Made from the finest clays, this 300mm long Third-Round Hip Tile from Redland's Rosemary range is available in an array of weathered, brindled and single colours, providing your roof with a striking and attractive finish. Boasting a textured surface and underside, it is complemented by textured sides and a front edge with irregular distortions. The hanging length varies, adding to the authentic appearance of handmade clay tiles.
Redland third-round hip tiles can be installed using mechanical fixing, mortar bedding or dry fixing methods. For mechanical fixing or mortar bedding, using the Redland Mortar Bedded Fixing Kit is recommended. This hip tile comes without nail holes and is suitable for use with the Uni-Vent Rapid Ridge/Hip system. When using dry hip systems, it is crucial to incorporate a block end hip tile or hip end at the eaves to ensure proper installation.
Featuring a darker and grittier texture compared to the original Albury and Hawkhurst colours, this Redland Rosemary Clay Hip Tile with a Victorian finish will give your roof a distinctive character with a greater depth of texture.
