Walk-on rooflights can be installed internally and externally so they can make the perfect talking point in your living room, roof terrace or garden. You could use walk-on rooflights to illuminate basements and cellars using natural daylight pouring into the kitchen above or illuminate dramatic features beneath garden decks, for example. Each rooflight is powder-coated in marine-grade black (RAL 9005).
Reflex’s walk-on rooflights have been manufactured carefully to ensure safety and architecturally sound design, giving you peace of mind. The stunning contemporary looks of the rooflights give you complete satisfaction with your project, helped in part by slim glazing joints so there are no chunky lines or bars in the rooflight. This rooflight has a subtle blue tint that disperses sunlight to be more soft and diffused, protecting furniture from fading and damaging under the light.
These walk-on rooflights can be set into both internal and external flooring with a flush-fit install every time. There are no lips, raised sections or bars protruding from the floor so you get a sleek and hazard-free finish. Walk-on rooflights come with a built-in structural upstand as specified by architects. Rooflights absolutely must be installed with this given upstand to adhere to safety standards but insulating properties and components mean there’s no compromise on thermal performance.
Each rooflight has a total structural height of 138mm. 22.5mm of toughened external glass is combined with a 20mm argon gas filled cavity and 6mm of internal toughened glass to create a thermally insulating and structurally sound build-up. Glass making up Reflex’s walk-on rooflights is up to 100% UV-blocking to prevent sun damage to furniture inside the building and it’s easy clean as standard. Offering u-values of 0.6 W/m2, this rooflight is triple glazed.
