All Scruffs safety footwear is manufactured using both synthetic and natural materials that conform to all relevant sections of EN ISO 20345:2004 for quality and performance.

Scruffs footwear is designed to protect the wearer from injuries that could arise from working in relevant sectors. All Scruffs safety products are fitted with steel or composite toecaps to protect the wearer’s toes against risk of injury of falling objects and crushing when worn in work environments where potential hazards may occur.

Available in sizes 7 to 12.

What does the S3 safety rating mean?

The Scruffs Cheviot S3 safety rated boot comes with the following protection features:

Antistatic protection: this will significantly reduce the of experiencing uncomfortable shocks caused by static build up.
Energy absorption in heel: with 20 joules of heel energy absorption, this ensures maximum protection and comfort to the heel area.
Impact protection to toes: in built aluminium protective toe caps can withstand up to 200 joules of energy.
Protected outsole: Resistant to fuel and oil
Water protection: the Cheviot boot upper is water resistant.
Midsole protection: composite midsole protection provides penetration resistance of 1100 Newtons.

Useful cleaning and footwear care tips

Remove stones & debris from the sole unit to maintain grip.
Clean suede and nubuck gently with a suede brush.
Remove stubborn marks with a suitable suede/nubuck cleaning product.
Rubber soles can sometimes develop a white powdery surface. This can be cleaned away easily with a damp cloth.
Suede and nubuck can’t be made totally colourfast. Take care not to mark carpets and furnishings.
Fit new laces before they become frayed to ensure maximum safety.
