Made from 100% natural sheep wool, these Optimal Rolls from SheepWool Insulation are a competitively priced, renewable and sustainable choice for insulating your home. As they are marginally denser than SheepWool's Comfort Rolls at 18kg/m³, Optimal Rolls can hold their shape throughout their lifespan and retain thermal efficiency despite extreme climates.
These rolls suit various vertical and horizontal applications, perfect for ceiling and rafter level applications, internal and external walls, floors and sloping ceilings. They are safe to handle without special PPE equipment or safety gear and are entirely breathable, meaning you can install them on top of existing glass and mineral wool. This helps eliminate harmful fibres which can become airborne, keeping you safe and protected.
Thanks to their high moisture content, these rolls are non-combustible and will self-extinguish on ignition. If subject to flame, they will not distribute poisonous fumes. They feature a biocide-free and patented Ionic Protect coating for defence against damage caused by moths.
