This double glazed roof dome is part of the Hi-Light range of rooflights and roof domes from Mardome. The Hi-Lights range of roof domes from Mardome is a hand picked selection of six key sizes of contemporary styled roof domes that have been manufactured to completely transform your home. This Mardome roof dome has been designed primarily to allow natural light to enter a room, increasing the natural brightness of a room, and minimising the use of artificial light. However, this roof dome is also manually opening, meaning that it can be used as a source of natural ventilation too when required, introducing fresh air into the room.
The glazing on the roof dome is ultra clear and manufactured from polycarbonate, which provides high impact resistance as well as a long lifespan. Additionally, the clear double glazing has Longlife UV protection to further increase the lifespan and minimise UV damage. The glazing has a cassette design, which helps to reduce the risk of condensation occurring within the glazing, which can obscure the view.
The manual double glazed roof dome is designed with a low profile dome, which helps ensure the roof dome blends in well with the rest of the roofline. The roof dome is fitted within a robust PVC kerb, which not only improves the thermal efficiency of the roof dome, but also ensures it remains secure and in place. The Mardome Hi-Light roof dome is secured with tamper proof security fixings - this, combined with the high impact resistant polycarbonate, creates a highly secure roof dome that does not provide a point of unwanted entry to the building.
