Description

Manufactured in Germany, the SPAX WIROX 6.0MM T-STAR plus washer head screw is for use in timber construction & particularly suited for rafter connections.

The large SPAX washer head pulls two components together with great force. High load capacity even with high tensile forces. Even twisted rafters can be tightened.

Key design features of this screw are the SPAX 4CUT & Ground serrations. The fibre of the wood is pushed aside, effectively reducing splitting and reducing the scewing-in torque required. The SPAX 4CUT also removes the need to pre-drill, though, this is dependent on the type of wood being used.

The SPAX 6.0MM washer head screw with T-STAR plus bit recess offers a positive & secure fit of the bit with better driving in even when working overhead.

The SPAX 6.0MM washer head screw is coated in WIROX. A surface with an increased thickness that achieves greater corrosion protection compared to conventional blank zinc-plated screws. WIROX is free of chrome (VI) making it more environmentally friendly than conventional surfaces both in production and in use.
