Designed to provide excellent holding power in softwoods such as oak and cedar, this 1kg pack of A2 stainless steel Annular Ringshank Nails is an ideal solution for your external applications where a strong and secure fix is required. It is particularly well suited for areas exposed to the elements and high winds. This strength, durability and corrosion resistance makes them a perfect fixing option for installing timber decking and cedar shingles.
When driven into the softwood surface, the nail's 2.65mm diameter, 40mm long ringed shank separates the wood fibres, which then close back around the shanks to ensure a high level of grip and resistance from the nail slipping back out over time. Thanks to its compatibility with unseasoned (or green) wood applications, these Annular Ringshank Nails are also less likely to cause wood splitting.
Conforming to Eurocode 5 and Service Class 3, these Annular Ringshank Nails are suitable for unprotected outdoor environments and areas exposed directly to the elements. Its Corrosion Rating of 4 means that it is also suitable for urban and industrial areas with a moderate salt atmosphere.
