A black, liquid, solvent base asphalt roof coating manufactured from Asphalt, high strength micro fibers and other additives which improve bondability and oxidation resistance. It waterproofs, protects and preserves old and new asphalt and metal roofs. Easy and safer to use, it's ready for application just as it comes in the container. Lasts longer, protects better and is more resistant to the elements.
The Original and still the Best, A cold applied liquid asphalt roof covering that is applied straight to the roof surface from the tin to deteriorating and worn roof surfaces. The most cost effective, premium roof coating money can buy.
Tin size: 25 litres.
Coverage: approximately 24.5m2 per 25 litre tin.
surface dependant - between 0.44 litres per m2 and 1.22 litres per m2.
Equipement: brush, broom (we prefer 9” deck scrub broom).
Curing: This product is slow curing and not suitable where immediate roof access is required after installation.
Finish: black.
Applied straight from the container with standard roofing brushes, squeegees, rollers or airless spray equipment. Requires no heating, thinning or mixing.
It Can be applied in almost any conditions, but dry is always best for optimal results.
Curing time varies on climate but in most instances is cured enough for top coating (if required) between 7 & 30 days.
For quicker curing coatings, look at the Aluminium Roof Coating or Guardian Seamless Roof Coating Systems.
You may also require a Conrecte or Heavy Duty Primer for dusty or granular surfaces.
Heavy Duty Patching Compound & Patching Fabric to repair any large cracks/splits in the roof surface.
Aluminium Roof Shield to add a solar reflective protective finish.
