A two part hydraulic cement coating designed for waterproofing both above and below grade concrete and masonry. Special tobermorite gel chemistry yields bond strength which is as much as three times stronger than competitive products. It is excellent for use in controlling subgrade weeping and seepage in basements, tunnels, conduits and other situations where moderate hydrostatic water pressures are encountered. Hardens in only 15 minutes. Meets British Standards for use in applications requiring direct contact with potable water, such as on the interior of concrete water tanks and cisterns.
Properties
Tin size : 22kg.
Coverage : 1kg will make approximately 618cm3 or enough to fill 169cm of 1.9cm x 1.9cm cracks.
Curing : Initial set occurs in three minutes.
Final set within five minutes.
Compressive strength : 8180 psi.
Application
Mix dry mortar mix to clean water and mix into a heavy putty. For non-active water leaks simply trowel into crack or hole. For active water leaks, form putty into a conical plug or rope shape larger than the hole or crack. Hold in hand or on trowel until the mortar begins developing heat and then force into the opening. Hold firmly in place without movement for a minimum of three minutes then release pressure and shave excess level with surface. Keep moist with water mist for 15 minutes.
