In partnership with the internationally acknowledged industrial designer and proponent of Green Design, Ross Lovegrove, the VELUX Group has designed an accessory product for the existing VELUX sun tunnel product range, the VELUX sun tunnel by Lovegrove.
VELUX sun tunnel by Lovegrove is in fact an extended ceiling trim ring ZTB to be combined with standard VELUX 14" sun tunnels (variant code 2010E1 only) and consists of:
The end user will perceive the product as a daylight lamp that uses the sun as a bulb. The unique design of the ceiling trim ring and the adjustable hanging bulb ensures that the natural light from the sun tunnel is reflected and dispersed in the room. To change the splay of the light, the bulb can be adjusted up and down using a simple steel wire mechanism.
Please note that the bulb referred to above is not an electric bulb.
It is not recommended to install the product where direct light is required, eg above the dining table.
With a light kit ZTL, the VELUX sun tunnel by Lovegrove can function as a lamp day and night.
Installation requires very little practical skills. The standard ceiling trim ring is removed and the acrylic pane with the hanging bulb is fitted below the insulating diffuser unit of the sun tunnel. The new ceiling trim ring is then clicked in place and the daylight lamp is ready for use.
ZTB 014 1001 can be installed on 14" sun tunnels* (not available in 10”) TWF/TWR, TLF/TLR, TCF/TCR with variant code 2010E1 only.
