Description

This Ubbink UB16 Universal Ubiflex Roof Tile Vent is perfect for use in most tiled and slated pitched roofs without the need to identify the make or design of the tiles or slates. This unit comprises a streamlined hood on a circular upstand with a 500mm x 500mm Ubiflex flashing skirt.

The uPVC upstand protrudes below the Ubiflex skirt to form a 160mm diameter penetration sleeve. This UB16 vent has an integral mesh to stop the ingress of large insects and vermin and offers a free vent area of 18,750mm².

  • If you require a matching terminal, you should use the UB41.
  • The Universal Roof Tile Vent does not suit the following tile profiles: Redland Delta, Cambrian, Saxon, Richmond, Anchor Centurion, Slate, Marley Monarch, Clay Pantiles, Landmark Slates.

Is this vent suitable for a bathroom ventilation duct on a tiled dorma window? The tiled face is vertical, but a standard grille would sit proud and uneven on the tiles.

The Ubbink UB16 Universal Ubiflex Roof Tile Vent is designed to provide ventilation on roofs with a minimum pitch of 20 degrees. If your tiled face is vertical, this product may not be suitable as it might not fit correctly or provide efficient ventilation. This vent is also designed to be installed within the roof tiles, so if your tiles are on a vertical face, a standard grille might indeed sit proud and uneven. We would recommend finding a product specifically designed for vertical tile installations for your bathroom ventilation.
