This 1100mm x 1100mm square Em-Dome rooflight consists of a curb made from white uPVC, patented high security screwbolts and a dome thermoformed from polycarbonate sheet with a clear finish, triple glazing and a minimum of 3mm thick glazing that is nearly unbreakable with a stronger impact resistance than glass by up to 250 times.
This Em-Dome rooflight has been made to make the most of using natural light while the high security screwbolts are unique to Em-Dome and provided factory fitted as standard to deliver a high level of resilience to tampering or forced entry. Once installed, the screwbolt fixings cannot be detached using basic tools while virtually eliminating the risk for stress fractures triggered by over-tightening. With sleeved bolts or screws within the screwbolt's body, a build-up of pressure on the rooflight glazing is avoided as the fixing is fastened.
