For recessed VELUX roof windows that sit 40mm deeper into the roof structure, this BDX insulation collar and BFX underfelt collar are ideal assets. The vast selection of sizes allows you to pick the right options for your VELUX roof window.
With an easy installation process, the underfelt collar (BFX) can be positioned at the top of the roof window and unfolded. It works to form a watertight seal between the roof window, battens and roofing underfelt. The included self-supporting drain gutter is easily adjusted and directs water away from the roof window's head if a leak is present above it.
The insulation collar (BDX) requires little time to install and effectively lessens heat loss and inhibits cold bridges. By combining rigid and flexible foam, a secure and energy efficient installation to the roof construction is enabled.
