Description

Available in lacquered grey aluminium and easy to install, this single flashing benefits from a corrosion-proof material and a neat appearance. VELUX flashings work to craft seals that are high in durability, as well as watertight and weatherproof, between the roof and the roof window. For standard installation heights, the red line demonstrates where brackets should be installed at the top and bottom of the frame.

This flashing also comes with an underfelt collar (BFX) which guarantees a perfect fit and watertight seal between the roof window, battens, and the roofing underfelt. It can be fitted without hassle as it unfolds once placed at the top of the roof window. The adjustable, self-supporting drainage gutter is also supplied to divert water away from the head of the window when a leak occurs above it.

Please note:

Not for interlocking slate.
Leaves and other debris should be removed from any flashing at least once a year to allow rainwater to run freely.
