Ideal for fitting single roof windows into slate with a maximum thickness of 8mm, this recessed flashing is also suitable for roofing felt and membranes at a roof pitch of 20° up to 90°.
Providing a sleek and elegant finish for your window, this recessed flashing is for when the window in installed deeper into the roof structure so that less protrusion above the roofline occurs. For recessed installation, install the brackets at the window frame sides, level with the blue line.
Incorporating between the roof window and roofing material, this VELUX flashing helps to ensure that there is a watertight seal around the window for efficient rainwater drainage when channelling into the built-in guttering system. For rainwater to flow effectively, customers are recommended to remove leaves and other debris a minimum of once a year.
