This heavy-duty Profile 3 roof sheet from Ariel's Vistalux range of corrugated PVC is perfect for cladding and roofing with its many beneficial qualities. With outstanding fire performance, this sheet is made from a self-extinguishing PVC material that will melt away from flames, ceasing as soon as the source is removed.

A wide range of lengths are available to fit your building requirements, meaning that you can find the right option to enhance the look of your property. This visually appealing sheet provides excellent optical clarity and creates a bright, pleasant setting below as it allows three times more natural light into a building than vertical glazing.

This sturdy yet lightweight roof sheet is easy to handle and install with great workability, making drilling and cutting a straightforward process with standard tools. With a variety of material uses, this roof sheet is suitable for porches, carports, canopies, roof lights, lean-to extensions, garden sheds, covered walkways, side cladding, plant houses and cold-frames and cloches.

The number of fixings needed can be simply calculated by dividing the roof length by the support centres and adding 1, dividing the roof width by the fixing centres, and then multiplying these two values together.

Please note:

  • Vistalux MUST be fixed and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions for the warranty to remain valid: re-erections or consequential damage costs are not included.
  • A replacement is provided free of charge if the product has failed due to a manufacturing defect, in normal climatic conditions within a 10 year period from the date of purchase.
  • Storage indoors on a flat and dry surface in cool surroundings is preferred. When outdoor storage is unavoidable, store flat on wooden bearers, spaced at about 1m (3' 3") centres and cover fully with an opaque light coloured tarpaulin.
  • Stacked sheets left exposed in direct sunlight will distort due to solar heat gain in the stack.
  • Orders over 50 sheets will need a forklift on site and if this is not available then we can arrange a split delivery however this will extend the lead time. If needed we can help arrange delivery with a special courier with an offload however this will be an extra charge.

Question:

For estimating number of sheets required, how much width is lost from stated sheet size with each overlap using the profile 3 sheets please? I want to make the frame size to the nearest sheet to avoid cutting and needing around 3..6 metres of run, it seems I will need 5, possibly 6 sheets with the .762 width, Thank you.

Answer:

Once overlapped on the side each sheet covers 650mm.
