The Mahon 80 Spanish roofing slate is ideal for residential properties, supermarkets and commercial properties, and is suitable for the English and Scottish markets.
Mahon 80 Spanish slate has a textured appearance and is pyrite free giving a rustic appearance and an aesthetically more pleasing finished job. This slate, which is blue grey in colour, is very easy to grade and lay on the roof and is sourced directly from the slate quarry.
This slate is regularly tested ensuring that it conforms to relevant British and European standards; it is also regularly tested to the French norm, a voluntary test procedure, which is more stringent than compulsory European standards. These tests have shown that the slate has a very low water absorption level, which is equal to that of ffestiniog welsh slate. This together with a quarry backed guarantee gives you the added peace of mind.
This roofing slate has been in production since 1970 so it has a proven track record.
