This Perforated Access Frame Grating is made from stainless steel and is a fantastic Freedeck asset. Freedeck by ACO creates an enhanced roof and balcony drainage system by innovatively combining line drainage and point drainage. As a result, it makes for rainwater drainage and safe access that aids a selection of applications for suspended deck constructions.
The perforated grate is 20mm in height, 390mm in width and comes with a FACTA Load Class A rating. It accompanies the Freedeck system where a channel is installed on the waterproofing membrane or insulation layer. Successful and efficient drainage with safety for foot traffic and defended building fabrics is created where pavings need to be laid 'open or closed joint'.
Rainwater can be intercepted at three points: rainwater outlet positions, percolation within the deck, and surface run-off. The water is collected by the open-sided drainage channel system and is then moved to the drainage points within the raised or suspended deck structure.
