Gutter Brushes & Guards
Gutter brushes and gutter guards are an affordable, easy to install, and long-term solution to prevent gutter and drainage blockages.
Gutter brushes sit inside the gutter and prevent leaves and falling debris from clogging them, whilst still allowing rainwater to pass through and flow towards the downpipe, away from building surfaces. We also offer gutter clips to secure these into place. Gutter guards on the other hand, can be made from metal, plastic, or foam. Rather than bristles, they have perforated holes for rainwater to flow through while leaves and debris sit on top.
Hedgehog gutter brushes act as a filter for your gutter, lying within the gutter and preventing debris from coming into contact with the water flow, whilst allowing the movement of water below the gutter brush. Made of a stainless steel wire core with polypropylene bristles, a gutter guard brush is really easy to install – lie them within your gutter and secure them with a wire or clip.
Installing such systems can help to prolong the life of your guttering and drains. It also means your property is kept dry from wet weather, and the guttering can do its job which is to guide rain water safely away from the external walls. This way, mould, rot, and damp aren't able to penetrate the foundations.
