Product Description

This flat rooflight has been manufactured by Atlas, with a clear tint, and is unable to be opened. The Atlas flat rooflight range is popular as a way to complete a modern and contemporary finish to flat roofs, extensions and other projects. Atlas flat rooflights are designed with a minimal visible frame, ensuring that maximum sunlight can pass through and into the room below.

The Atlas fixed clear tint rooflight consist of a uPVC internal core, which is bridged with a thick glass unit - the glass unit consists of double glazing with an argon cavity between the two pieces of glazing for maximum thermal efficiency.

There are a number of different colours of frame available with this clear tint Atlas rooflight, to ensure the rooflight either blends in with your roof for minimal visual impact, or creates a great feature. The internal frame and external frame can be different colours, and you can choose from black, grey or white internal and external frames.

This fixed flat rooflight is supplied with a clear tint. The clear tint has been designed to maximise the light transmission through the rooflight, providing a clear view through both sides of the rooflight.

This clear tint flat rooflight is not supplied with an upstand, so it is important to note that an upstand will need to be manufactured for the installation of the flat rooflight.

Questions & Answers

Question:

Can it be used on a pitched roof (the pitch is very shallow 10-15Deg)?

Answer:

Yes this would be suitable, but please be aware you need to build your own kerb to fit this onto.

Question:

Hi there when it says grey on white I take it that means the frame external is grey then internal is white?

Answer:

Correct this means grey outside and white inside.

Question:

Can this window be fitted onto a rubber roof?

Answer:

Yes but you do need to build your own upstand for these to fit on, the dimensions on the Rooflight would be the internal dimensions of the upstand you create.

Question:

On the atlas roof light are you measurements the internal size or the external of the curb up stand on the flat roof?

Answer:

Yes, the internal dimensions of the kerb.

'Please note: the dimensions/size stated on all Atlas Flat Glass Rooflights refers to the internal dimensions of the kerb. Important: minimum pitch of kerb to be 5 degrees - measure internal kerb length along slope.'

Question:

what structural opening size should be made?

Answer:

The structural opening for Atlas Rooflights is the advertised dimensions we list on the website, a 80mm thick upstand must be applied around the the rooflight and in itself is the external dimensions for the rooflight, also a 5 degree slope must be applied to allow for water run off.

Question:

What dimensions do I use for the frame for a 1200x800 atlas flat roof window?

Answer:

The dimension on the lantern are the external dims you will need to make the kerb to, so if you make your kerb so it measures externally 1200mm x 800mm you would be fine.

Question:

What is the external size of this unit?

Answer:

The external measurements are 2160mm x 1060mm.

Question:

What is the weight of this product?

Answer:

The weight is 115kg.

Question:

What is the minimum upstand height required for planning?

Answer:

The minimum required upstand height for this rooflight is 150mm, please note that if the roof has a pitch of less than 15° then the upstand needs to compensate for this so the height at one end may be higher. The window itself has a height of 72mm above the upstand.

Question:

How much does this product weigh?

Answer:

APPROX 115KG
