Used in a variety of applications, particularly in vandal-prone areas, including carports, bus shelters and canopies, this 10mm thick Axgard® Clear UV Protected Polycarbonate Glazing Sheet is a high-strength, virtually unbreakable material made from a polymer resin that is around two hundred times stronger than glass.
A quality alternative to glass with excellent light transmission, unlike most other polycarbonate glazing options, Clear Amber's Axgard® sheets are protected on both sides by an extra layer, which protects the material from the degradation that will occur due to frequent exposure to ultraviolet light.
Not only is the Axgard® Clear 10mm UV Protected Polycarbonate Glazing Sheet bomb blast resistant, but its Class 1 fire rating means it will not burn and is unlikely to act as fuel in the event of a fire. It is incredibly easy to install and can be cut and drilled without any risk of the sheets cracking.
