Due to its lightweight material and authentic appearance, this Britmet LiteSlate Synthetic Slate Ridge offers a neat finish designed to last and replicate a natural slate roof. Unlike traditional tiles, it resists cracking, breaking, chipping and delamination, thanks to its innovative design and manufacturing methods.
The installation of LiteSlate is a hassle-free experience with clear fixing locations, pre-installed spacers and comprehensive lapping instructions. No additional tools are required during fitting and cutting, and the tiles are effortlessly cut to size using either a sharp fine-tooth saw or a sharp blade. No matter your amount of experience, from DIY enthusiasts to experienced roofers, anyone can install LiteSlate with ease.
This roof ridge includes the same characteristics as those found in traditional slate roofs alongside a range of classic slate colours. It is suited to a minimum pitch of 12° up to a maximum of 90°. When laid on a 15.5° roof pitch, the slates will weigh 11.70kg per m², 10.60kg on a 25.0° pitch, 10.00kg on a 27.5° pitch, and 9.50kg on a 30.0° pitch.
