Description

Alongside their opal finish, these sheets have 25mm thicknesses and can be sized with the cut to length tool. The 20mm edge engagement makes them suitable for a proprietary glazing bar system.

These sheets should be fixed so that the flutes down their lengths keep in line with the flutes down the length of the pitch or slope of the roof. For secure attachment, you can use a glazing system or wall flashing at the upper edge, along with a single fixing button at the lower edge.

To maintain structural integrity, it is important to keep a maximum span of 1250mm between glazing bars. Beyond this limit, there is a risk of the sheets dislocating from the glazing bars when faced with harsh wind or heavy snowfall. If it your applications requires you to join the sheets together, it is recommended to use a glazing bar that spans the entire length of the roof's slope or pitch.

Please note:

To order this product, please use the cut-to-length polycarbonate tool.
Wider sheets of up to 2100mm are available if you wish to cut them down on site, but this sheet should not be installed at this width in any circumstances.
These width recommendations are appropriate for regular small scale domestic applications with sheets up to 3m long.
Orders over 50 sheets will need a forklift on site and if this is not available then we can arrange a split delivery however this will extend the lead time. If needed we can help arrange delivery with a special courier with an offload however this will be an extra charge.
