Cold-applied on-site, the comprehensive ProGRP fibreglass roofing system from Cromar gives a smooth and flexible weatherproof surface that is resistant to frost, water and heat. This complete application provides a strong architectural finish with an impressive look. When properly maintained, the system can last for as long as the building does. The ProGRP technology has been developed further to create full weather protection for any flat roof. Highly versatile, it can be installed in a range of large industrial applications or small domestic projects.
The ProGRP Topcoat is provided in 10kg and 20kg cans to decrease wastage and give you flexibility. All cans require to be completely stirred/shaken before use. If separate cans are being used, they must be mixed together to avoid any potential for colour variants between batches. The correct ratio of ProGRP Resin to 450gsm glass fibre chop strand mat is 1.5 litres of resin per m² of mat. The thicker the mat, the more resin is used, with approximately a 33% increase of resin for a 600gsm mat.
